What’s the big idea?!
I think about happiness all the time, even when I’m not feeling it myself. Growing up, surrounded by countless happy endings on my bookshelf, I often wondered—do stories exist where happiness isn’t the ending? Do endings always have to be happy? At the end of the day, an ending is an ending, no matter how gentle, no matter how right.
For the first time ever, I’ve decided to sell this book in a way where the commission comes directly to me. In the past, I avoided this because writing has always felt like a gift to share, not something to profit from—I feared that putting a price on it might corrupt a passion that’s always been deeply personal. But with grad school ahead, I see this as a small opportunity to raise some funds for the next chapter of my academic journey.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you.
